...SERENA WILLIAMS!
- After she won the China Open Tennis Tournament last Monday, Serena Williams took Dinara Safina's #1 spot in the world. It is great to see Serena back at #1. Does she deserve though? Well, I think she does. Even though she caused such a huge upset at the US Open Tennis Tournament, I am still a big fan of hers. There are so many tennis players who had made upsets! Why draw all the attention on Serena Williams? Thats what I don't understand. They are making this issue a big deal. She apologized already. Serena is not the same as her sister Venus Williams because she is more open and will show how she really feels. But yeah just think about it. Does she deserve to have the highest ranking in women's professional tennis?
I always thought that Serena should've been at number one. I've watched tennis forever and watching Safina play i feel like she just crumbled over time. At one time it was obvious that she had the talent to be number one, but she lacked the consistent talent to remain number one. Players like Serena have this consistent talent. She is one of my favorite players to watch, because she always puts up a fight no matter the situation. I'm happy to see that she is at the one spot, she deserves it.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you man! She really does deserve her spot at #1! I am a big fan of the Williams sisters and they have set many records together! Serena is an amazing athlete! I am very proud of her!
