A little about tennis!!!

What makes tennis entertaining? What makes it so seat-edging? Well, basically it is all up to the players to set the mood; consequently, it is their job to show the audience or whoever is watching that they are passionate and truly dedicated for this elegant sport. I find it very interesting that each player has his or her own playing style. Having their own playing style distinguishes themselves from each other.

The experience of learning more and more about tennis will indeed have an impact on how someone see themselves and the world.

  1. I never thought about that! Do you think that the way tennis players perform rituals before serve says something about who they are?

  2. Honestly, I have tried to watch tennis matches in the past but have never felt that interested by the sport. I had to play tennis in gym once and since I am a softball player, I hit the ball like I would hit a softball. In other words, I completely sucked and smacked the ball over the fence. However, next time that I attempt to watch a tennis match, I will try to pay attention to the different styles of play and hopefully, it will make it more interesting for me.

  3. Hey Ashley, thats a great question! I do think that the rituals say something about who they are. Some players show off more than others. The rituals tells us their mood, determination, attitude. :)

  4. Hey the person commented after Ashley,
That is very interesting. I can see how that happens when you are use to playing softball and when you get a racket you think of a softball bat. Tennis can be really fun. It is really fun when both players are really trying their best to win. Definitely try to pay attention to the players. You will learn a lot from them. If you understand that rules you should really google the rules and get the understanding. The rules are really simple but it takes time to learn how to play. Well, it doesn't always take a long time to learn but once you understand the rules you will then be interested. :)
